Jawan, featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi, has created a sensation at the Indian box office. The film continues to achieve remarkable success and shows no signs of slowing down. Recently, it crossed the 300 crore mark, leading to director Altee’s impressive debut in the Directors’ Ranking.
For those unfamiliar with Celebtrends Directors’ Power Index, or Directors’ Ranking, it is a system that ranks directors based on the box office performance of their Hindi films. Points are awarded based on the film’s performance in different box office clubs. For example, a film in the 100 crore club receives 100 points, while a film in the 200 crore club receives 200 points, and so on. Additionally, each film in the top 10 grossers overseas receives 50 points.
Given the immense buzz surrounding Jawan, it was expected that Atlee would make his presence felt in Celebtrends’ Directors’ Ranking. However, the speed at which things are happening is unimaginable, as he has already secured the 11th position on the list. With Jawan’s entry into the 300 crore club in India and its inclusion in Bollywood’s top 10 grossers overseas, Atlee has earned 300 and 50 points, respectively.
Currently, Atlee has a tally of 350 points and holds the 11th spot on the list, surpassing Vijay Krishna Acharya’s 300 points. It won’t be long before Jawan enters the 400 crore club in India, earning Atlee an additional 100 points and allowing him to surpass Prashanth Neel, the director of KGF Chapter 2, who currently has 400 points and is in the top 10.
