It is now the final countdown for Gadar as it approaches the lifetime total of Pathaan [Hindi]. Gadar has currently earned 515.03 crore* while Pathaan has scored 524.50 crores. Gadar needs to collect another 10 crores to match Pathaan’s total.
However, instead of competing with Pathaan, Gadar 2 will be chasing Jawan. The fast pace of the latest Shah Rukh Khan film means that it will soon enter the 300 Crore Club for just the Hindi version. By the end of the second weekend, it could even make its way to the 400 Crore Club.
While Gadar is on its journey towards the 500 Crore Club, the Anil Sharma directed action drama will also contribute to its total at limited screens. Meanwhile, Jawan will be collecting in crores while Gadar collects in lakhs. It is likely that Jawan will reach 524.50 crores before Gadar 2.
We hope that Gadar 2 eventually surpasses Pathaan [Hindi] and does so before Jawan catches up. Gadar 2 may have a short-lived stint as the highest grossing film, but it will at least wear the crown for some time before passing it on to Jawan.
