During the episode, Farah Khan shared her experience of travelling in trains during her youth. She mentioned that due to limited financial resources, she used to travel second class, which was often crowded. She jokingly added that travelling in Mumbai locals taught her self-defense. Farah also recalled the time she, along with Shah Rukh Khan, Manisha Koirala, and director Mani Ratnam, took an overnight train journey for the shoot of ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’. To avoid recognition, they covered themselves with scarves. However, upon reaching their destination, they discovered that everyone already knew Shah Rukh Khan was on the train, with thousands of people waiting at every platform to catch a glimpse of him.
Kirron Kher also fondly shared her train travel experiences, mentioning that her father, who was in the army, would often be posted in different places, leading to train journeys for the family. She described the first-class carriages with spacious berths and comfortable beds. Kirron also mentioned the steam engines of those times and referred to the beautiful memories associated with those train travels.
Badshah revealed that his introduction to renowned musician A.R. Rahman happened through the Indian Railways. During a trip to South India with his dad, they met another couple who were newly married. It was on that journey that Badshah was introduced to a Walkman for the first time. The couple let him listen to a cassette playing Tamil music, specifically the song ‘Ooravasi Ooravasi’ from the film ‘Kadhalan’. This was the moment Badshah fell in love with A.R. Rahman’s music.
