Morgan Wallen Heartfelt Gesture to Idaho Murder Victim’s Family
Morgan Wallen, upon learning that one of the victims of the tragic Idaho murders was a devoted fan of his, took it upon himself to personally reach out to the grieving family. The late college student’s mother, Stacy, shared the heartwarming gesture on social media. The Chapin family, including Ethan’s loved ones, had the privilege of receiving special treatment at Morgan Wallen’s recent concert in Southern California.
Stacy revealed that Ethan had once sent her one of Morgan’s songs, expressing his admiration for the country singer. This story became public knowledge after Ethan’s passing. When Morgan heard about it, he felt compelled to do something.
In her social media post, Stacy wrote, “Last night, we had the incredible opportunity to meet Morgan Wallen! He generously gifted our family and friends tickets to his San Diego show. Even Morgan’s mother, Lesli, flew in for the occasion! It was a profoundly emotional moment for all of us.”
Stacy went on to say, “Simply attending the show would have been more than enough. We were overwhelmed with joy. However, Morgan surprised us by presenting a donation check to the Ethan’s Smile Foundation. It was one of the most compassionate acts I’ve experienced. I am still in disbelief, and I acknowledge the significant sacrifice it entailed for our family.” She concluded her message by expressing gratitude towards Morgan.
Naturally, the family took several photos with Morgan, and as Stacy mentioned, they appeared elated to be there. However, the occasion was undoubtedly tinged with sorrow.
Ethan was among four University of Idaho students who tragically lost their lives the previous year. The other victims were Ethan’s girlfriend, Xana Kernodle, and her roommates, Madison Mogen and Kaylee Gonclaves. They were brutally stabbed to death in the rental house they occupied.
Prosecutors have identified Bryan Kohberger as the alleged perpetrator responsible for these heinous murders. He is set to stand trial, with the possibility of facing the death penalty.
