Russell Brand has allegedly been accused of offering to take his naked personal assistant to meet the late paedophile Jimmy Savile. This is one of several claims being made against the comedian, including allegations of rape, sexual assaults, and emotional abuse. The claims were published by The Times and discussed in a Channel 4 documentary.
In response to the allegations, Russell Brand posted a video on X and YouTube denying all the claims and describing them as a “coordinated attack” on him. However, one of the claims reported by The Times suggests that Brand offered up an employee to Savile in 2007. As he does not have a sister, Brand allegedly offered his personal assistant instead, promising that she would appear naked.
Russell Brand went ahead with a comedy show on the same evening that the allegations were printed and aired. During the show, he expressed his gratitude for the support he has received and mentioned that there are certain topics he cannot discuss. He also joked about having a body double.
Following the allegations, Russell Brand’s talent agency, Tavistock Wood, has cut ties with him, stating that they were misled. Additionally, a former runner who worked with Brand on Channel 4’s ‘Big Brother’s Big Mouth’ has accused him of flashing her and making inappropriate advances.
Despite these allegations, Russell Brand’s wife, Laura Gallacher, is expecting their third child. However, Laura’s sister, Kirsty Gallacher, deleted an Instagram story in which she showed support for Brand.
