Heidi Klum is losing sleep over her Halloween costume this year. Known for her extravagant costumes, the former ‘Project Runway’ host has dressed up as characters like Princess Fiona, Jessica Rabbit, The Mask, and even an elderly version of herself in the past. She promised that this year’s costume will be particularly “extra”. Speaking to the Daily Mail, the 50-year-old model said, “It’s going to be extra. It’s going to be really extra. I have had sleepless nights over it, you know me. I have to admit, I love it. And then my gut, I feel like it’s going to be good.”
Heidi revealed that she faced opposition to her worm costume from last year, which went viral and became the subject of many memes. She said, “They were like, ‘A worm, really?’ They kind of wanted me to think of a plan B and a plan C, but I’m not like that. For me, it is plan A.”
As a judge on ‘America’s Got Talent’, Heidi emphasized the need to fully commit to her costumes in order for them to be successful. She explained, “If you are thinking of all different other things, then it’s not going to be a success or it’s not going to be that major. Everyone around is always like, ‘Think of something different. This is crazy. And the worm is crazy.'”
Heidi feels the pressure to not disappoint her fans with her costumes. She said, “I never know if it will be good until the day, and I don’t want to let my Halloween fans down. There are so many creative people around the world and I don’t want to let them down.”
However, Heidi admitted that her husband, Tom Kaulitz, and her children are not involved in coming up with her costume ideas. At her Halloween party last year, Heidi revealed that she constantly thinks about her next costume, even starting to plan for it the day after Halloween. She said, “When I wake up tomorrow, I start thinking of the next.”
