Pete Davidson has been performing stand-up acts since leaving Saturday Night Live in May 2022. However, during his latest comedy show, he apparently got into an altercation with a fan, resulting in accusations of racism. Pete recently returned to the stage after spending time in rehab.
In his personal life, Pete Davidson made headlines for his relationship with Chase Sui Wonders. The couple recently broke up after less than a year of dating. Pete previously dated Kim Kardashian for eight months.
According to The Sun, Pete performed at the Wind Creek Event Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, with his friends and fellow comedians Jon Stewart and John Mulaney. After the show, they were answering fan questions when a woman yelled at Pete, calling him a racist. Jon intervened to ease the situation and defended Pete’s act, but before things could be resolved, Pete responded by calling the woman an offensive term.
According to an eyewitness, Pete’s alleged racist joke came during a skit about home bedrooms. He mentioned his black realtor and referred to the big room as the “master bedroom.” The realtor corrected him and said the term is now “primary bedroom” because of its association with slavery.
It is unclear if Pete’s joke was directed at the woman or not. He has not addressed the incident on social media. We will provide updates on the matter. Stay tuned to Celebtrends.com for more pop culture stories.
